The BundesUmweltWettbewerb (BUW) is an annual nationwide project competition for teenagers and young adults aged between 10 and 20 organized by the Leibniz Institute for Science and Mathematics Education (IPN) at Kiel University. The competition motto is “From knowledge to sustainable action”. There are cash and non-cash prizes with a total value of around 25,000 euros to be won, two of which are awarded by Forum für Verantwortung.
The closing date for entries is March 15, with the awards ceremony taking place in September.
