James A. Robinson, Professor of Political Science and Economist at the University of Chicago (USA); from 2004 to 2009 he was Professor of Government at Harvard University. In 2024, together with Daron Acemoğlu and Simon Johnson, he received the Alfred Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences “for studies of how institutions are formed and influence wealth.
