Politik der Zukunftsfähigkeit

Contours of a sustainability turnaround

What values do we want?

Politics, business and society today are predominantly very short-term oriented. Despite all the rhetoric about the future, the dominance of present-day interests over long-term requirements seems to be stronger than ever. Sustainable development, however, requires long-term thinking and the inclusion of future concerns in our actions in the present. How can this be achieved?

The former economist Reinhard Loske has the theoretical and practical knowledge to provide suggestions for a new way of thinking that is committed to the ideal of sustainability and can actually be implemented politically. He clearly discusses which political reforms are necessary. Loske considers new forms of cooperative economic activity and the linking of ecological issues with questions of freedom and justice to be very important.
