In this interdisciplinary in-person seminar, featuring lectures and workshops, we will discuss:
For two decades, wealthy countries have failed to make sufficient investments in policies to mitigate climate change and adapt to its impacts. Amid the overlapping crises since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic—which have imposed enormous financial burdens—politicians worldwide continue to allocate entirely insufficient funds to combat climate change and biodiversity loss. What solutions exist for this dilemma?

The colloquium is open to doctoral and master’s studentsin all disciplines; it is also open to bachelor’s studentswho have already begun their thesis.
