The 21st century needs visions – stories of better lifestyles, stories about a successful future. The development of a sustainable society is already being driven forward today by successful projects: Responsible entrepreneurs, creative school administrators, student start-ups and citizens are using their scope for action to develop pioneering and sustainable economic strategies and lifestyles. The FUTURZWEI Almanac of the Future presents their stories, providing role models for sustainable economic and lifestyle models and showing that counter-designs to the current dominant culture of growth and waste can be fun. The focus topic of mobility paints a picture of our lives in the middle of the 21st century in surprising scenarios.
