The second FUTURZWEI Almanac of the Future tells 83 stories of lived alternatives to the dominant culture of growth and waste. The main topic is material – it is about the extraction of raw materials and the production of goods, about hyper-consumption and waste. The focus is on the political and, as always, on FUTURZWEI: will we have been ready for less material, consumption and injustice? Five writers talk about how raw materials and consumer products could be dealt with in the near future.
