Resourcen/Energie
From knowledge to action
Didactic modules
What are the driving forces behind our resource and energy consumption? How high is the resource consumption of economies, per person and in a country comparison? What priorities are reflected in the resource and energy debate with regard to the impact on people and the environment, the consequences for climate change and in the context of the debate on social justice? The “Resources and Energy” module deals with these questions and introduces actors and programs in resource and energy efficiency. A more sustainable use of energy and resources is a global challenge. The increasing economic interdependencies of resource policy at regional, national, European and global level are therefore addressed.
Knowledge about our future is crucial for the implementation of resource and energy efficiency strategies and measures. What will our future look like and what challenges will we face in the area of resources and energy? Resource and energy consumption scenarios are presented and explained.
The materials in the module enable participants to actively and creatively engage with topics such as “What is the future of energy supply? The conflicts over resources”, “Ecological furniture design”, “Strategies in resource efficiency”, “Services don’t consume resources? No way!” and options for action for everyday life: “Everyone can change the world”.
