Wie muss die Wirtschaft umgebaut werden?
Perspektiven einer nachhaltigen Entwicklung
The United Nations expects the world’s population to reach 9 billion by 2050. By 2030, the world’s gross domestic product will grow by 130 percent – enormous economic growth is already apparent, particularly in emerging economies such as China and India.
As a result, the extraction of resources from nature will increase by almost 50 percent – as will the storage of waste and pollutants in nature and the emission of greenhouse gases. A temperature rise of two degrees is already unavoidable. Bernd Meyer shows what options we have to tackle what is probably the greatest challenge facing mankind and how our economy must respond.
